Privacy policy
LayerTwo Design is a design and development studio based in Ontario, Canada, run by E&C Creative Strategy Inc. This policy covers layertwo.design and explains what the site collects, why, and how to reach us about it.
What we collect
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It records the pages you visit, the page that referred you, approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser information. It sets cookies in your browser to recognise return visits. We do not use it to build advertising audiences.
Booking a call. The scheduling page is powered by Cal.com. When you book, you give Cal.com your name, email address and time zone, and anything you type into the booking form. Cal.com processes that on our behalf and sends us the booking.
Email. If you write to us at hello@layertwodesign.com, we hold that message and your reply address in our email system so we can answer you.
The site has no account system, no newsletter sign-up and no payment processing. When you type a question into the search box, it goes to our server, which passes it to an AI model through Vercel’s AI Gateway to pick an answer from the site’s own pages. We don’t store what you type.
Why we collect it
To see which work and services people are interested in, to answer enquiries, and to run calls we have agreed to. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it except with the providers named here who process it for us.
Who processes it for us
Google (analytics), Cal.com (scheduling), Google Workspace (email), Bunny.net (video streaming) and Vercel, which hosts the site, runs the search box and keeps standard server logs including IP addresses.
How long we keep it
Google keeps the Analytics event data tied to your cookies for two months and other user data for 14 months. Aggregated reports that don’t identify anyone are kept longer. We keep no separate copy of any of it. Enquiry emails and booking records we keep while the conversation is live and for as long as we need them for our records.
Your choices
You can block or clear cookies in your browser, and most browsers offer a do-not-track setting and private browsing. Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on for Analytics. If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you a right to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold, write to hello@layertwodesign.com and we will act on it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date below.
